Historic town of Budleigh Salterton and it's famous pebble beach plus Exmouth's sandy beaches, sailing and water sports, Woodbury Park and East Devon golf courses, fishing in the river Otter, sea fishing at Beer, Budleigh and Exmouth, all within a few miles plus horse riding nearby at Budleigh Riding School.

There is endless walking including the South West coast path along the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline within half a mile and thousands of acres of open heathland with coastal views on the door step, or woodlands, bridleways and lakes.

Places of interest include the towns of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth, villages of Otterton and Beer and Exeter Cathedral city (11 miles). Dartmoor is only 20 miles away and there are numerous historic and National Trust houses and gardens to enjoy around Devon.

Further areas of interest include the nature reserves of the Exe and Otter estuaries, Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, and numerous adventure parks.
