EASTER EGG HUNTS
Good Friday - April 2nd 10am - 1pm

Ride to a secret location where the Easter bunny is hiding the Easter eggs ready for Sunday & has saved some for you if you can find them!! Any level of experience welcome (must be able to walk & trot off lead rein) - rides will be split according to level of experience.

EASTER GYMKHANA GAMES
Easter Sunday - April 4th - starts at 2pm

Great fun games for every level of rider - no experience necessary. Riders will be put in groups of similar levels of experience - please call for approximate times on Friday 2nd 2-4pm - or come for the whole afternoon & watch the others too!

EASTER MOCK HUNT
Easter Monday - April 5th -  10am—1pm

(gates open at 8AM for fetching & preparing horses!) Chase the Easter Bunny across the common to raid his leftover Easter Eggs! Experienced riders only. Price includes Easter Eggs. We would also really appreciate people staying round afterwards for an hour or two to help with their horses—Thanks

An afternoon and early  evening ride with a cream tea at Otterton’s famous mill.

At last the long awaited light evenings for beautiful sunset rides when wildlife is abundant. Any level of experience from walk and trot up to experienced welcome - rides will be split according to level of experience.

EDUCATIONAL SPECIALS

THREE AND FOUR DAY COURSES

Learn while having fun - these 3 / 4 days riding and stable management are a great way to improve all areas of riding and understanding /looking after horses - riders will be split according to levels of experience - please bring packed lunch.

LUNGEING TRAINING
Wednesday 7th & 14th April 5.30 - 7pm
For people either training towards BHS stage 2 /3—or if you just want to practice / learn or perfect your lungeing techniques.

RIDING AND ROAD SAFETY TRAINING
Tuesday 6th April - Friday 9th April  4.30-8pm
Examination (optional) Monday 12th April 10.30am

Taken by more than 4,000 candidates each year the test helps educate riders in road safety in order to minimize risks involved in riding on the roads and is essential if you are wanting to take any British Horse Society exams in the future. The test is available to all riders from 12 years of age and is supported by the department of transport. Examination places are limited to 8 so book early if you would like to do the exam. You do not have to take the exam at the end if you would just like to do the training.

£95 for course / £15 horse hire for exam (£80 own horse)

SUMMER CAMPS

ADULT ONLY CAMP
Tuesday 14th September - Friday/Saturday 17th  September

Back by popular demand - the adult camp week. Bring a bottle & a sense of humour & be prepared to mix camping (holiday cottage rooms also available) with cosy evenings in the barn - and of course a lot of learning. Please ask instructors for details. Any level of experience welcome - riders are split according to ability

SUMMER CAMPS

We are currently getting deposits in so anyone on the waiting list should hear soon if a place comes up. We do have spaces for those on own ponies. Please ask for details. If you are interested in camps for next year please put your name down on the waiting list as it is getting  quite long already.

SADDLE CLUBS
Start week of Monday 19th April. 5.30 - 7.30pm

Twelve week courses - educational and social - learn stable management as well as riding. Get your name down if you would like to join us in summer term (starting week of 19th April) as we have waiting lists for certain evenings.

£280 for 12 weeks (£240 own horse)
